I am a senior program director and nonprofit leader with extensive experience operationalizing the missions of education and social impact organizations. My experience includes working and leading within schools as an educator and school leader, and leading city-wide educational programs in New Orleans. I also spent my early career in public relations before joining Teach For America. Following my time as a teacher and eventual Middle School Director, I pivoted to nonprofit leadership. As the Director of Programs at Son of Saint, I managed a $2.5 million dollar budget and a staff of 15. During my tenure, I led the program team to refine and scale multiple initiatives that positioned the organization to achieve its first major strategic growth plan and designed programs for academic enrichment, college prep and persistence, career, and workforce development, alumni support, and more. I also oversaw and project-managed the organization’s relocation to new facilities. In 2022, I assumed the role of Director of Student Life (Program Director) at College Track, dramatically increasing community outreach and program offerings within a 6-month period. I am a passionate people leader and coach, project manager, and culture builder with deep skills in planning and executing high-stakes events and programs. In addition to my work in school and nonprofit leadership, I consult with nonprofit organizations in the areas of strategy, event and program planning, leadership development, student recruitment, and volunteer management. Driven by an unwavering commitment to increasing opportunities for young people in underserved communities, I equip organizations with the necessary systems, strategy, and human capital to advance educational equity for all.
